TRISH C
Super Mom

Such a wonderful gym, I used to be scared to go to a Co ed gym and stuck to women only gyms. The environment and staff is very welcoming, doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or you’ve been working out for years. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Boot camp and hot yoga are my favorite! Great way to mix up workout routine, and to finish a workout with a protien shake and a steam is the best thing ever!

SARAH L
Care Aid

I’ve only been to the gym twice for hot yoga. And both times had amazing service and awesome ‘original hot yoga’ classes. I signed up last summer to do the 7 say trial for free yoga. And I only got to attend one class then got very sick. So couldn’t complete my free week. I submitted a new application last week and got a call stating they would let me restart me free week. So awesome of them to do that!!!

BENEFITS OF HOT YOGA

The Hot Yoga studio at No Limits Hot Yoga provides radiant heat at a room temperature between 95 to 102 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the class. Hot yoga at No Limits provides you with all the benefits of yoga boosted by radiant heat. Practicing hot yoga removes toxins, improves flexibility and joint mobility, promotes healing, reduces muscle stiffness and pain, decreases soreness and inflammation, increases circulation, improves skin tone, promotes weight loss, enhances heart function, lowers blood pressure, reduces stress, and speeds recovery.

Many hot yoga studios simply close the door and crank up the heat. You end up sweating buckets without doing much work at all. At No Limits Hot Yoga, the radiant heat works by using your body’s energy to heat the room. This means the sweat that is pouring off your body, is real sweat that you actually worked for. Working in a heated room also elevates your heart rate, which makes your body work harder. Hot yoga is for people who want a more intense workout—those who want to develop strength, flexibility and tone along with their cardio. Working in the heat helps your body relax, improves breathing, and focuses and clears your mind. It is a complete workout for your mind, body, and soul.

We have so many classes to choose from

OUR YOGA SANCTUARY CLASSES

ORIGINAL HOT YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Make no mistake: this yoga class is toasty! Original hot is practiced in a room well above body temperature; in other words, if you didn’t know your shins and elbows had sweat glands, you’re about to find out. This class aims to increase general health, and students of this style believe that a heated room will help drive a deeper stretch while preventing injury. Original Hot 26 consists of a set of 26 poses and two breathing exercises. The room temperature will be set at 102 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

ORIGINAL HOT FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Original Hot Flow is based on the Original Hot 26 poses with a twist of flow added in. Where in Original Hot we hold poses longer, in Original Hot Flow we move with the breath and flow between moving deeper into the pose. This class aims to increase general health, and students of this style believe that a heated room will help drive a deeper stretch while preventing injury. Original Hot Flow consists of a set of 26 poses with breathing exercises. The room temperature will be set at 102 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

HOT DETOX FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

This class will leave you feeling cleansed to the core. We are exposed to toxins—through the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the products we use. Even our thoughts and emotions, when negative or repressed, can be as unhealthy as a poor diet or sedentary lifestyle.

Through the use of specifically designed twists and compression poses you will rinse the spine and internal organs, riding them of harmful toxins. The result is a completely refreshed feeling throughout the entire body.
Detox yoga helps with weight control, clearing your skin, and increasing your energy! Please remember to drink LOTS of water after this class to help flush the released toxins out of the body!

Yin to yoga (Yin/Yang) practice for the first half of the class with traditional Flow yoga practices for the second half of the class. This class can provide you with a practice that starts with deep, introspective, and quiet yoga that evolves into an energizing and uplifting yoga that sets you on your way for the rest of your day. This class is practiced at room temperature. AGES 12 & UP.

HOT FREE FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Flow, is a practice where postures or asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Classes will include vinyasa Krama which builds heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. The creative sequencing found in a vinyasa class is often built around surya namaskar (sun salutations). Vinyasa as a form is always evolving and teachers weave together wisdom teachings, poetry and music that can inspire physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and pure bliss states of consciousness. All levels welcome. Beginners will be shown modifications. The room temperature is will be set at 95 degrees with less humidity. AGES 16 & UP

SCULPT & STRETCH YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

This 60-minute class is designed to burn fat and blast calories. It’s a total body workout that is carried out barefoot on a mat. This is a fun, high-energy class that consists of a warm up, cardio with repetitions and body weight is incorporated to strength and tighten muscles, followed by some abs and a light cool down. Plan to sweat like crazy while working every muscle group! The room temperature will be set at 95 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

STRETCH & RELEASE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

Release & Restore is an all levels class designed to target very tight muscles resulting from a lack of stretching after bootcamp and weight lifting, poor posture from spending too much sitting at a desk and from injuries. The instructor uses specific active release techniques such as Myafascial release with tennis balls to restore mobility in areas of tightness that are not typically releived through traditional yoga and stretching. You will leave this class feeling rejuevenated. Room temperature will be 80 – 85 degrees. Cozy warm to warm the muscles. AGES 12 & UP

HATHA YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Hatha is a potent alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Traditional asanas are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. The room temperature is will be set at 98 – 101 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UPThese classes are appropriate for active beginners through to advanced students. All leverls are welcome. Modified versions of more challenging postures will always be given. Be sure to work at your own pace, and take breaks whenever you feel the need. The room temperature is will be set at 98 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

YIN YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues). Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.Yin is suitable for all levels of students and is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This class is practiced at room temperature. AGES 12 & UP

RESTORATIVE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

In restorative is a gentle form of yoga where props are used for support the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. The postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining. For instance, a seated forward bend (paschimottanasana) can be done with a bolster or several folded blankets on top of the legs so that your forward bend is fully supported with the entire torso resting on your props. Legs up the wall (viparita karani) is a classic restorative, with the wall used as a prop to support the legs. This class is practiced at room temperature. AGES 12 & UP

RISE & SHINE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

All levels welcome. Cultivate an energizing breath as your body moves through a series of yoga poses to naturally align the body as you calm the mind. Rise and Shine Yoga is a 6 am class that will invigorate the body and create a peaceful center to prepare you for the day’s events ahead. The room temperature will be 98- 101 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

BIO
I am very passionate about movement, health, energy and creative expression so I love to teach a fun but challenging yoga class. My classes are suited for all levels and abilities, as together we work for what is best for your body by creating awareness.
When I first began, I had been an elite and competitive athlete my entire life, so needless to say power was what ruled with the mentality that without pain there’s no gain, so obviously lost along that journey was the importance of balance, functional skills, breath, and alignment. Over the years as I gain knowledge, experience and continuous learnings from my teachers, I have come to love the art of the smallest movements, flowing in and out of poses with breath and a calm but joyous state of mind.
Yoga brought passion back in my life, excitement and pure joy.  It allowed me to be me, to sink into myself and really come to love healing myself mentally, physically and emotionally inside and out.  I love to play and soon I began to allow myself to move freely on the mat, exploring my body, my breath and my imagination. I truly have such a passion to teach as I love to help others find their passion but achieve what brings them the greatest joy. If yoga is just part of that step for them, then I just love to be the one that can help either bring a smile or laughter to them, teaching in a way that enables them to enjoy and explore their bodies. Physical activity has been a constant in my life, from national level track & field and volleyball to kickboxing and Gung-Fu.  In 2009 I explored my physicality in a new form, through yoga, and discovered my passion. As well as my love of yoga, I am a dedicated artist (with a BFA from TRU), an avid traveler and lifelong student of health and wellness.
My journey began in my hometown of Kamloops, where I studied various styles of yoga, including: Moksha, Traditional Hot Yoga, Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa Flow.It was my time at a Vipassana 10 day silent meditation retreat, deep in the mountains of the interior of BC, where I focused on my spiritual path, cultivating awareness, discipline and love within my heart.
I began teaching in 2012 drawing from all my experiences, big and small, weaving together styles and concepts creating a balanced and uplifting experience.  Flowing movements, innovative sequencing and healing words are the foundation of my teaching.  Using my wide range of training, I am able to motivate all ages and abilities in their yoga practice, insuring each student progresses in a safe and supported way. From young children first learning about body awareness and breath to adults challenging themselves in their practice, I gently lead them to discover more about themselves.  Join me in classes filled with creativity and light! Kayla believes yoga to be a miraculous practice that has the power to make your life a better place to live.  Kayla had an on again, off again love affair with yoga during her late teens and early twenties, however, after multiple car accidents, and chronic pain, it was ultimately yoga that provided her lasting relief and the means to heal both body and mind.  Her classes are a thoughtful fusion of vinyasa flow, linking breath to movement, coupled with longer held poses.   She incorporates her love for anatomy and physiology of the human body into her teaching, helping you to grow your practice from the ground up. I have always craved the adrenaline and intensity of a good workout. During my university days, my time at the gym would be a highlight of the day. One day, I decided to try something new and attended a hot yoga class. I instantly fell in love. My body felt incredible, my head and heart felt the same and I loved the intensity of working in the heat. I also learned that slowing down and embracing the yin side of life and yoga was something I needed more of for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Not wanting to waste any time, I registered right away for a 200HR intensive training in Thailand. That was about 4 years ago and since then, I have taught yoga full time. It’s my career, it’s my passion. I love teaching yoga, I love studying yoga, and I love practicing yoga. Yoga is such a complex and rich practice that is constantly inspiring and challenging me. I look forward to seeing you in class! We will listen to funky beats, laugh, work hard, get sweaty and enjoy a slow, deep cool down. See you soon!!

BIO
My love of yoga first blossomed during my travels across Southeast Asia as I found physical and emotional empowerment within the practice. I took my 200 hour RYT training in Bali in 2015 and at the time was not planning to become a teacher. I decided to take the training for my own spiritual growth and to develop my own personal practice. After learning the history and theories behind yoga and deepening my practice further, I felt incredibly inspired to share the tremendous joy and healing that yoga brought into my life. To be able to teach yoga and guide individuals on the yogic path makes being a yoga teacher one of the most rewarding professions there is. I seek to inspire and help my students to realize the limitless potential that already resides in them. I practice to stay connected to my body, my mind, my community, and to stay inspired as a teacher. I teach because I hope to provide a space for others to feel the way my practice has made me feel: supported, nutured, challenged, empowered, and confident! I’m inspired by my students who show up and do their best, every day, my mentors who support and encourage me to be my best, and walk the walk, but most of all, by others who are living their dreams!

I’ve been active all my life – from basketball to baseball, adventure races to triathlons, but nothing feels quite as self-honouring and complete as yoga. It has transformed me physically, while also expanding my growth on a mental, spiritual and emotional level. My mat mirrors my life and yoga has assisted me in using my breath to get through challenging times, while learning to discern when to push myself harder versus when to surrender! These tools have become essential to my life’s journey and I look forward to exploring and expanding with others.

We all have different bodies, experiences, injuries and stories, and I aim to create a space that feels safe and judgement-free where you can learn to appreciate yourself more fully, as well as your journey so far. My goal is to assist you on your journey inward, so that you can trust yourself and expand your practice from a place that feels authentic and self-honouring. I like to keep my classes light-hearted (laughter and giggles are perfectly okay in yoga!) and share from my experiences, while encouraging you to listen to your body and your breath.

Warren discovered yoga in 2009 when travelling in Asia. There he found a quiet meditative style of yoga with long held poses which inspired his exploration of yoga. Realizing physical and mental health benefits that far surpassed any other exercise regimens that he had previously experienced, Warren became an avid yoga practitioner. Over the next few years, Warren explored a large variety of yoga styles and classes. In the fall of 2012, he then returned to Agama Yoga to complete the 150 hour First Level Yoga Intensive. From this point Warren’s personal yoga practice became focussed on Hatha, Yin and Restorative styles of yoga which employ longer held poses in a more meditative style. In the fall of 2014 Warren completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with the South Okanagan Yoga Academy and the 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training program with Bernie Clark. Warren feels privileged to be able to offer Hatha, Restorative and Yin yoga courses to his students.

BIO
Taylor, like many students, started going to yoga for the fitness, but quickly kept coming again and again for the feeling and space it created in her mind. She didn’t fully understand what it was at the time; she just knew that it felt really good. After many years of practice, she is coming to realize more and more that yoga is all about connection. Connection to the breath, connection to mobility and health of the body, connection to the mind and thoughts, connection to the beautiful present moment, connection to community, and a deeper sense of connection to the soul and the true essence of being.

Taylor believes that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or experience. With her warm, energetic, and playful personality, she aims to get your body moving and more connected with your mind.
