As teachers and students of No Limits Hot Yoga, we create the best yoga experience possible for everyBODY and all walks of life. We seek to see the light in each person, speak truth, honor difference and reclaim respect and appreciation for our bodies. We are influencers in our communities. We believe in one another’s dreams and celebrate individual and communal life-changes, as well as our unfolding personal legends. We exemplify what it means to live our yoga on and off the mat. Our yoga moves through the self, past the self, and into oneness in the world, creating deeper relationships inside and outside.

Every day, a steady stream of people visit No Limits Hot Yoga. We leave with our fires stoked and our edges softened; enlivened and empowered to practice in a way that challenges boundaries, shifts perspectives and allows for continual growth. We are more fully ourselves, and more deeply connected.

We offer a variety of hot yoga classes for beginners and advanced yogis. To learn more about our classes or to register for one yourself, please give us a call. Members must be 16 & up to attend heated classes and 12 & up to attend unheated classes.

Such a wonderful gym, I used to be scared to go to a Co ed gym and stuck to women only gyms. The environment and staff is very welcoming, doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or you’ve been working out for years. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Boot camp and hot yoga are my favorite! Great way to mix up workout routine, and to finish a workout with a protien shake and a steam is the best thing ever!

I’ve only been to the gym twice for hot yoga. And both times had amazing service and awesome ‘original hot yoga’ classes. I signed up last summer to do the 7 say trial for free yoga. And I only got to attend one class then got very sick. So couldn’t complete my free week. I submitted a new application last week and got a call stating they would let me restart me free week. So awesome of them to do that!!!

Hot yoga at No Limits provides you with all the benefits of yoga boosted by radiant heat. ORIGINAL HOT YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Make no mistake: this yoga class is toasty! Original hot is practiced in a room well above body temperature; in other words, if you didn’t know your shins and elbows had sweat glands, you’re about to find out. This class aims to increase general health, and students of this style believe that a heated room will help drive a deeper stretch while preventing injury. Original Hot 26 consists of a set of 26 poses and two breathing exercises. The room temperature will be set at 102 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

ORIGINAL HOT FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Original Hot Flow is based on the Original Hot 26 poses with a twist of flow added in. Where in Original Hot we hold poses longer, in Original Hot Flow we move with the breath and flow between moving deeper into the pose. This class aims to increase general health, and students of this style believe that a heated room will help drive a deeper stretch while preventing injury. Original Hot Flow consists of a set of 26 poses with breathing exercises. The room temperature will be set at 102 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

HOT DETOX FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

This class will leave you feeling cleansed to the core. We are exposed to toxins—through the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the products we use. Even our thoughts and emotions, when negative or repressed, can be as unhealthy as a poor diet or sedentary lifestyle.

Through the use of specifically designed twists and compression poses you will rinse the spine and internal organs, riding them of harmful toxins. The result is a completely refreshed feeling throughout the entire body.
Detox yoga helps with weight control, clearing your skin, and increasing your energy! Please remember to drink LOTS of water after this class to help flush the released toxins out of the body!

HOT FREE FLOW YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Flow, is a practice where postures or asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Classes will include vinyasa Krama which builds heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. The creative sequencing found in a vinyasa class is often built around surya namaskar (sun salutations). Vinyasa as a form is always evolving and teachers weave together wisdom teachings, poetry and music that can inspire physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and pure bliss states of consciousness. All levels welcome. Beginners will be shown modifications. The room temperature is will be set at 95 degrees with less humidity. AGES 16 & UP

SCULPT & STRETCH YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

This 60-minute class is designed to burn fat and blast calories. It’s a total body workout that is carried out barefoot on a mat. This is a fun, high-energy class that consists of a warm up, cardio with repetitions and body weight is incorporated to strength and tighten muscles, followed by some abs and a light cool down. Plan to sweat like crazy while working every muscle group! The room temperature will be set at 95 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

STRETCH & RELEASE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

Release & Restore is an all levels class designed to target very tight muscles resulting from a lack of stretching after bootcamp and weight lifting, poor posture from spending too much sitting at a desk and from injuries. The instructor uses specific active release techniques such as Myafascial release with tennis balls to restore mobility in areas of tightness that are not typically releived through traditional yoga and stretching. You will leave this class feeling rejuevenated. Room temperature will be 80 – 85 degrees. Cozy warm to warm the muscles. AGES 12 & UP

HATHA YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Hatha is a potent alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Traditional asanas are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures (asanas), deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. The room temperature is will be set at 98 – 101 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UPThese classes are appropriate for active beginners through to advanced students. All leverls are welcome. Modified versions of more challenging postures will always be given. Be sure to work at your own pace, and take breaks whenever you feel the need. The room temperature is will be set at 98 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

YIN YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues). Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.Yin is suitable for all levels of students and is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This class is practiced at room temperature. AGES 12 & UP

RESTORATIVE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

In restorative is a gentle form of yoga where props are used for support the body so that you can hold poses for longer, allowing you to open your body through passive stretching. The postures are usually adapted from supine or seated yoga poses with the addition of blocks, bolsters, and blankets to eliminate unnecessary straining. For instance, a seated forward bend (paschimottanasana) can be done with a bolster or several folded blankets on top of the legs so that your forward bend is fully supported with the entire torso resting on your props. Legs up the wall (viparita karani) is a classic restorative, with the wall used as a prop to support the legs. This class is practiced at room temperature. AGES 12 & UP

RISE & SHINE YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

All levels welcome. Cultivate an energizing breath as your body moves through a series of yoga poses to naturally align the body as you calm the mind. Rise and Shine Yoga is a 6 am class that will invigorate the body and create a peaceful center to prepare you for the day’s events ahead. The room temperature will be 98- 101 degrees with humidity. AGES 16 & UP

KARMA YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

This class is offered at a $5 investment as a way for us to give back to the community. This is a great class for a beginner to try out, and a nice roll of the dice for all yogis seeking something new in their practice. The karma classes are a great way to practice yoga on a budget while supporting a good cause and connecting with others on a deeper level of awareness. $5 Drop to non-member

BROGA YOGA
ALL LEVELS – HEATED

Broga is a yoga class geared for just men (where it’s okay if you can’t touch your toes). Strong, energetic, and challenging, Broga combines the best core-strengthening, muscle-toning, cardio-working, stress-reducing, clarity-enhancing yoga postures with functional fitness exercises for an amazing workout. You’ll get that pumped-up feeling you get from working out and a deep flexibility and relaxation feeling from “working in. If you’ve already been to a class, we’ll see you again soon. If not, you’ll thank yourself for making the effort to show up. Good music, cool vibe, all men are welcome.

ACRO - PARTNER YOGA
ALL LEVELS – UNHEATED

This workshop style will nourish both your practice and your heart. Partner yoga is hands on and cultivates playfulness in your practice. This is a beginner level class and no experience is necessary. This is a great class to do with a spouse as we work with the Chakra system to develop trust, passion, strength, communication intuition and intention. You are not required to bring a partner as we will partner you with another person or group. Join us to float, deepen, and align your yoga pose fun!

Becoming a fitness instructor is something I have always wanted to do and wish I had done it years ago. I love being around people and thrive on motivating and inspiring people to feel stronger and healthier through physical fitness. I have discovered that some of my most rewarding experiences have come from sharing her passion and helping others achieve their goals.
Since having the opportunity to be co-owner of a beautiful fitness facility in Kamloops (No Limits Fitness), with partners who also share the same dreams, goals and passion for fitness, I have been able to follow her dream.
About a year ago I found my true love for yoga and decided to open my own studio.
My goal is to help people achieve a balanced lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of health & wellness as well as try to create a training environment that not only motivates but also empowers individuals at any age and fitness level to continually challenge themselves in a fun and rewarding way.

Kelsey has been a student of yoga since 2009. In 2013, she took her first yoga teacher training and soon after took many more across BC and eventually worldwide. Combining her educational background of social science, love of personal relationship, social justice activism, and her own spirituality has led to many wonderful experiences in the yoga community. Her most beloved and treasured role is mothering her two young daughters, who lead her to continue the ever-unfolding process of consciousness, patience, humour and love everyday. My love of yoga first blossomed during my travels across Southeast Asia as I found physical and emotional empowerment within the practice. I took my 200 hour RYT training in Bali in 2015 and at the time was not planning to become a teacher. I decided to take the training for my own spiritual growth and to develop my own personal practice. After learning the history and theories behind yoga and deepening my practice further, I felt incredibly inspired to share the tremendous joy and healing that yoga brought into my life. To be able to teach yoga and guide individuals on the yogic path makes being a yoga teacher one of the most rewarding professions there is. I seek to inspire and help my students to realize the limitless potential that already resides in them. I practice to stay connected to my body, my mind, my community, and to stay inspired as a teacher. I teach because I hope to provide a space for others to feel the way my practice has made me feel: supported, nutured, challenged, empowered, and confident! I’m inspired by my students who show up and do their best, every day, my mentors who support and encourage me to be my best, and walk the walk, but most of all, by others who are living their dreams!

She also worked extensively in the fashion industry and now uses her entrepreneurial experience to help mentor other aspiring woman. I started going to Buti yoga just over three years ago and saw a huge change in my strength and endurance but not only that how I saw myself. I knew this was something that I would love to share with others. I took my Buti certification just over two years ago and have been teaching it consistently since then. I love to see others gain the empowerment, confidence and strength that this practice provides. I took my Yoga teacher training just over a year ago now and have been teaching ever since. Kayla had an on again, off again love affair with yoga during her late teens and early twenties, however, after multiple car accidents, and chronic pain, it was ultimately yoga that provided her lasting relief and the means to heal both body and mind. Her classes are a thoughtful fusion of vinyasa flow, linking breath to movement, coupled with longer held poses. She incorporates her love for anatomy and physiology of the human body into her teaching, helping you to grow your practice from the ground up.

Cherisse is a holistic entrepreneur, yoga teacher, mother of two spirited young boys with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree who is committed to creating programs that offer Yoga for YOUth. She loves hiking, rollerblading, swimming and connecting to mother nature. Her outgoing personality and enthusiasm create an energy that will shine through during her teaching. She has studied an Anusara inspired Alignment Based Training with Todd Inouye and a level two Vinyasa Krama inspired training with Ryan Leier.
Her passion is in sharing mindfulness practice so that people can connect with themselves to confidently move towards living their highest potential. Her goals include creating yoga program’s that are accessible to all people. Her strong drive to deliver yoga to youth and to underserved populations is what inspired the creation of Let’s Breathe Yoga. She has gained over 200 hours delivering yoga to Youth and over 150 studio hours since her graduation in 2017.

Warren discovered yoga in 2009 when travelling in Asia. There he found a quiet meditative style of yoga with long held poses which inspired his exploration of yoga. Realizing physical and mental health benefits that far surpassed any other exercise regimens that he had previously experienced, Warren became an avid yoga practitioner. Over the next few years, Warren explored a large variety of yoga styles and classes. In the fall of 2012, he then returned to Agama Yoga to complete the 150 hour First Level Yoga Intensive. From this point Warren’s personal yoga practice became focussed on Hatha, Yin and Restorative styles of yoga which employ longer held poses in a more meditative style. In the fall of 2014 Warren completed his 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with the South Okanagan Yoga Academy and the 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training program with Bernie Clark. Warren feels privileged to be able to offer Hatha, Restorative and Yin yoga courses to his students.

I love to teach classes that are challenging, releasing and grounding. Even though we practice many of the traditional yoga postures in a lot of classes, it is never the same! Our bodies are different every day. I encourage students to listen to their bodies and take what they need in the moment – sometimes that means dialling it up and sometimes that means dialling it down. In my classes you get to come home to your breath, connect to your body and allow a clearer, stronger version of yourself to emerge.

The first time I practiced yoga was at the YMCA in Kamloops in the early 90’s and since then it has been a thread I’ve carried throughout my whole life. I practiced yoga through pregnancies, different careers and stages of my life. As I approach the second half of my life, I know the critical value of yoga in maintaining a functioning body and an aligned sense of self. I want to be able to use my body joyfully in doing all the things I love to do – skiing, soccer, hiking!

Lindsay’s curiosity towards yoga begin long before ever stepping foot in a class. She was always curious, but not really sure where to start as this wonder began at a time and place where it was uncommon. Years later she found herself in a small class for the first time and began to explore. What started as a supplement to her fitness routine slowly turned into a passion and increasingly strong desire to explore this world of yoga. The gentle integration of spirituality into a physical practice started to show up and she now uses this as a tool towards her own personal mental wellness. Lindsay completed her YTT 200 hr certificate in the spring of 2018 and has been teaching part-time since. Her teaching style is vinyasa inspired with an emphasis on breath and turning our awareness inward. She welcomes all levels into her classes and provides a space where students feel supported and capable of finding their edge. It humbles her to have students join her on this journey and she is grateful for the space we all hold for each other.

Taylor, like many students, started going to yoga for the fitness, but quickly kept coming again and again for the feeling and space it created in her mind. She didn’t fully understand what it was at the time; she just knew that it felt really good. After many years of practice, she is coming to realize more and more that yoga is all about connection. Connection to the breath, connection to mobility and health of the body, connection to the mind and thoughts, connection to the beautiful present moment, connection to community, and a deeper sense of connection to the soul and the true essence of being.

Taylor believes that yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or experience. With her warm, energetic, and playful personality, she aims to get your body moving and more connected with your mind.
